crickey!! why am i telling this  !!! played my high hand tonight and only scored 200 lousy points in one game,was,nt pissed either.ball went straight down the guts of the shooter.had a few more games and did,nt fare much better.ok have a scotch or two and have another crack tomorrow. any other embarrising stories out there.

Can remember having games like that during the 1970s while the games were on location  !!!

Also the Captain Fantastic that used to be at Luna Park....all 3 balls did the same  #@#

Well – there is my (now famous) Fish Tales ‘ball search’ ball story out there if you go searching for it !
It nearly happened AGAIN the other night on my Tales of the Arabian Nights – I could NOT believe it !@) !@)

It’s always good therapy to share those stories mate so keep em coming  :lol

High Hand brings back memories. This game was in the local parlour for a month and at the end of the month, the highest score won the pinball. I remember putting a lot of 20c coins in and getting absolutely shite scores. Not quite as bad as yours shamus lol...but enough to give me the shits.

Would love to play one of those again and have a good half hour bash. Slevbro from Newcastle had one at his meet earlier this year but was out of order :(

For the record I won the comp with a score of 121k - 30 odd years ago - im showing my age.

i reckon high hand is a great game its no pushover,the powerfull slingshots can knock down some of the lower drops on most occasions but getting the centre pop out hole is the key here to collect bonuses,not an easy thing to do,but just like most games you seemed to have it all sorted out and then only to make you feel like a goose because ya played shitty shots,nothing is predictable thats why i love pinball.
