AC to DC for Flippers and Bumpers
« on: November 15, 2009, 06:49:53 PM »
Hi all
Anybody converted their Flippers and Bumpers from AC to DC on early EMs for more power ?  &&
Just wondering if it made any difference.

Spurr does this to his EMs, it turns a snooser into a screamer. EMs are boring with weak flippers.

If you buy protectors for the plastics (or have spares) this is certainly feasible.

I just do the upgrades like in Clays guides, keep the playfield waxed.Theres plenty of power to hit the top of the playfield.I've never felt the need for any more power. ^^^

Hi,

I replaced the coils in my 2 wedgeheads with more powerful ones from Pinball Resource. I also got the rebuild kit and they now work great, plenty of power.
