strange thing happens when i power up system 11 wms
« on: November 16, 2009, 10:38:19 AM »
hi guys
i have noticed some times when i first power up my bk 2000 the credit knocker will pop once (its not trying to report a switch fault which gives you multiple knocks).
and my sof will activate the kickback once.  !@#

these things only happen intermitently and only at the exact time i turn the switch on.

has any one with system 11 had the same thing happen to them?
or does any one know why this happens?

one thing i haven't done yet is checked wether these 2 solenoids are controlled by the same transistor.

Is there a reset / hold circuit on the cpu?  Earlier WMS (and I think other) cpus have this to wait until power supply voltages are stable before letting the microprocessor code run.  I'd be looking carefully over this.

My gorgar pulses the outhole kicker when its turned on.  (Not enough to eject the ball though)
