Has all the hallmarks of a scam:

  • seller with 0 feedback
  • based in UK but selling into Australia
  • low starting price to suck you in

but hey, it could be for real!

Sounds like a scam but I sent the guy a message asking if I could view the machine. Will let you know if he responds and if I do get to view it I will let you all know.

Yeah, some of the wording of the auction would indicate that.  Are basements common in the UK?.

Basements are not very common over here, and if you had such a thing it would be caller a cellar.

we shld get his address from paypal (they give them out easily enough) , we can do a google earth of his address, get a few forum members to burn the rip off merchant at the stake (they love doing this in england)  and we can refresh the google earth every hour as the satelite passes over head and check on the fires progress. sounds like a plan.  ^^^  ^^^  ^^^

and we thought the arabs werent nice stoning people. anyone caught stealing from a pinball collector should be considered shark food or at least tied to a bonfire.
