HELP! please (pricing)

Heyy guys,
I was looking at one of Mark.c's pinballs and thinking it was over-priced soo... I shouldn't say this but I thought a super mario bro's pinnie was approx $1900 but what do you think its worth.

I have always emailed Mark C and have found his pricing to be excellent. I dont take the ebay pricing too serious, because that is a general price only.

I used to purchase pins from 2 x sellers in QLD, and from the internet/private sales, but now, I just email Mark and he gives me a great price. I have found, as container pins go, no-one usually has such a high standard as Mark does. If he doesnt have a great one, he will tell you. If u want him to get u one in, he does.
I just find the personalised service to be very important. Thats my personal opinion anyway.Dutts Transport also works very well. Always damage free delivery.

Because there is so much competition at the moment, it pays to ring Mark and talk to him. The last Super Mario pin i saw sell in QLD for a nice machine was $2400 4 months ago from a brisy private seller. Hope that helps.

Pricing really depends on condition as well as title.  So the range can be quite large depending on condition.  For a Gottlieb Mario, I would see that range from $1500 to $2500 depending on condition.  I mean some Pins are mint HUO condition, some are in very poor condition with a lot of playfield wear or damage, cabinet etc etc.

Always look at the machine first or get lots of photos and then make your offer.

Take Marco's latest Star Trek 25th restore, that Pin is neat as...now I have a 25th that is in good nick but hasnt had all that work done.  Would I expect to get as much for mine as Marco's..no way.

As cave man said, after looking at Photo's etc and when you know the full condition talk to Mark as he is always very resonable and prices his pins based on both title and condition.  So I am sure you would get a fair deal.

mate its ok  no problem , its getting rebuilt this week and cleaned up .   more pictures very soon .
I have seen them from 2000 to 3500  all depends on cond and what are around .  and i guess depends on whether from home or dealer , and if rebuilt properly or not .

Yep price is condition dependent.

Look for playfield wear between the 3 bumpers, inlane ball drops and chewed out eject holes above the slingshots.

Hard to find with nice cab art, and the side rails oxidise easily.

$2k or less and you're doing OK i reckon.  Interesting title as it was considered a dog on location and has had a pretty ordinary reputation up until a couple of years ago.  Must be the Mario/Nintendo retro thing.

It's a fun game, if not a tad easy.

Mario was 1800 to 2k private/ebay. But its appreciated when alot of titles have depreciated.
They are not allways in good supply.
