just out playing my Comet that I got going the other day, and bang cracked a plastic @.@
broke in half actually.
How the hell can I repair this?
Araldite? Super glue? Duct tape?
Anyone successfully repaired one before, or do I have to try and fine one?

No always plenty of ammo just have lots of spare parts I've been building up spares for years and until ap BMW along I never used any.   Now my parts collection has helped heaps of members out.

Easy way to repair broken or cracked plastics is to use Mylar.Do both top and bottom and then trim the edge and your all done.

Can't believably I have a complete set of comet spare except for the one I bought the set for and the one you need bloody typical.    And yes mine has a metal bracket over top op the plastic is that what you meant?

Yeah thats the piece of metal I meant.
Its not on the original flyer, but obviously a factory item.
Wonder what it is for, protection?
