Aussie Dollar has never been better. If I had a sys 4/6 I'd buy one just to evaluate it and use it later down the track.

All the major players are at Expo. There are a series of Expos in the US around this time of year.

Shipping cost me $35USD mid August,
Sys6 mpu/driver board was total cost of $295.USD
$339.24 AUD at the time exchange rate was .869.
Should have waited aye?

But great to have the board, now at least I don't have CPU/Driver worries I know its all OK.

And as Nino says, its handy to have one, it works in so many games, just a basic Binary dip switch setup.
Worth it just to test a machine I reckon.
Cheers,
Lets go Brandon!

I agree that it's a good price for what you get, but I do have some reservations about loosing the originality by installing these boards even though they are appealing from how versatile in the number of games they run. Off course others will have different views on this

Daniel - how much are you replacing!   40 pin connectors, a handful of drive transistors, some power resistors, blanking caps, a few buffer chips and maybe a PIA. A struggle to get near $300?

Yeah your right but for $300 saves a lot of stuffing around.   I'm building a CPU at the moment I'll keep track of what I spend on it.    I go a bit overboard usually and replace almost everything just incase which is probably overkill but gorgar has never missed a beat
