When you had the connector replaced, did they replace both the harness connector and the connector on the board? There is a big article on
www.pinrepair.com which covers a lot of problems with the connectors and GI. Apparently it is not uncommon for the via/feed throughs to burn out between the top and bottom layers of the board near the connectors. You can check these for continunity with a meter.
The other tests the article mentions is to check whether you have 6.3VAC on the GI#2 string and also whether you have a short on one of the sockets and bulbs. Hopefully this might help out.
