Looking for the best place to buy the double sided tape for the siderails and what size type etc to buy.

super cheap auto sell double sided tape for the plastic strips that go on cars, 12mm X 10M.

Bunnings sell similar.

I use the double sided tape from Pinrestore - http://www.pinrestore.com/Supplies.html - about 3/4 of the way down.

12mm wide is too narrow for siderails (1990's Bally/Williams?)

You want at least 20mm wide.

If i was applying double sided tape to install new rails, i am not sure i would use a continuous strip verses a few small patches placed evenly along the rail.

I have seen various people trying to adjust/take off newly installed rails just 2 minutes after putting them on, and let me tell you, its like shit to a blanket, it is definately not going anywhere. AND the issue is, the decals then get ruined trying to get the siderails back off.

Even a few well placed dbl sided patches will hold the buggers on well enough. It just gives u a little room for taking them off later etc.

Thanks for all the replys i guess i am after tape 20mm wide and 1mm thick best bought from auto stores .
