Monster Bash phantom flip not working! HELP!!!
« on: November 22, 2010, 02:32:03 PM »
HI guys I've got a problem with the phantom flip on my monster bash pin, the sensors were not working & the machine came up with "errors" for both sensors in switch test
I have replaced both sensor boards to "pin bits auto eddy boards" there are now no errors & is working in switch test
but still not working  the machine just awards u 500 points when u spell out phantom
I have also tried to turn off the feature & then back on again... nothing still not working
Any idear's guys?

The game has to be played a bit so it can 'learn' the shots. Maybe you just need to play it a bit more?

Only five members with this game, so maybe this post hasn't been seen. I don't have the game, but looking at how it's set up, the three switches on each side leading to the flipper would all have to be correctly working 100% for for the Phantom flip to work. Have you checked those are working correctly?

I noticed some replacement parts on pinbits, (replacement eddy board and microcontroller) the other day, made me wonder if those might be problematic on your game (I assume a common problem for them to have remade them)? http://www.pinbits.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=13_7&zenid=g3d3p8as5fdge6nrnbmsa02tf0

Sorry I can't help any more, I don't have much experience with this game.

Well done, and especially for letting us know, I was curious about the issue.
