check the 5 Volt reg on the power supply board. sounds like its low. grab a multi-meter.

if you are not sure what to do, PM Beaky, or he can post some info.

Sounds like faulty capacitors for the +5 volt. Or broken / missing diodes on the flipper coils.
If it is the capacitors then more than likely all the other electrolytic capacitors are cactus or on their way out also.
also try reseating the plugs on J102 & J114 on the power driver board and J210 on the CPU board in case its just a bad Connection.
Bad solder joints on those plugs ,the bridge rectifier or the 5 volt reg can also cause this to happen.

Rule of thumb on the Bally / Williams machines - change all the Bridge rectifiers and capacitors. Caps are usually rated to 10 years, so they are overdue anyway ! I covered the process on my Addams Family thread, Page 4 - http://aussiepinball.com/index.php?topic=2969.45

The parts are available from RTBB. You can also replace just the corresponding +5VDC cap ad BR. You could also replace C4 It's a 100uf, 10V cap (from memory).

As Beaky mentioned, check the diodes on the flipper coils as this would be the easiest and cheapest fix.
