"9602" chips for Bally MPU Boards.

Hi All,

( NEWSFLASH !! - these are also used in the ATARI Main CPU Board ).

To help support Mikes efforts with the homepin Bally MPU board he's selling:

I got in contact with a retired electronics shopowner, who still holds a garage full of old parts & junk...
After going thru his (pricey) lists, i've found i can buy around 50+ of these "rare" 9602 chips.
These are required when using the 6800 cpu on the Bally MPU boards.

I'm just trying to get an indication of how many people might need these chips??

They'll cost me $10each (actually discounted down from $20 if i buy all 50, pricey i know, i know),
and i'm passing them onto you guys for $10, as i'm piggybacking them onto a large purchase of other parts anyway....

Postage will be $8.80 in an express satchel Aus-wide, and you can order as many as you like to still maintain the $8.80 postage fee....

For interstate guys, you might want to gather your orders together, so ONE of you receives the package for $8.80, and then your locals can pickup form you, saves $8.80 per person in postage...


If there's a LOT of interest, i'd prefer that everyone gets 1-2 chips each, but if interest is low, then i dont mind if 1 person buys all 50.....

You can reply here, or P.M. me, to indicate how many chips you'd like...

I have a few days before i goto pickup the chips....

Not knowing anything about the chips are they already programmed and ready to push in.

Sorry, i didnt give a full descrip-tion of the chip itself....

It doesn't need programming or anything, it's part of the clocking circuit to keep the 6800 running (the heartbeat).

You DON'T need the 9602 chip if you're using the 6802 cpu, as some games use 6802, some use 6800....and i guess the more fussy collectors who want to keep board as original as possible with a 6800 will need this chip.
