The Addams Family "Things Box"
« on: May 11, 2011, 10:08:47 PM »
I received a customers Adams Family to restore for him and while stripping it down I thought that "Things Box" looks too plain and boring. Having looked at the web to see if there were alternatives I found one artwork that was just Black and looked like it had some guilding around the edges. It didn't look right to me from my days of watching the original Addams Family series on TV so I decided to make one myself. Below are pictures of what it looks like (mine, that is) as fitted onto the box and flat as a sticker.
I have 2 as spares (stickers) and would like to offer them FREE  $#$ to the first two people that reply on this board (sorry for Australia only) BUT on condition that they do fit them onto their machine and report back any suggestions or possible problems with it. I'm doing this because I want to sell them later and get an apraisal on what you think.

The artwork is made to look like a leather finish and press studs around the edge.

Great offer! That really does dress up the otherwise bland Thing box, nice work.
