Tears of joy then sorrow
« on: May 19, 2011, 08:25:46 PM »
Oh crap...

I have a "thing"( for want of a better expression) for STONER games. I own 2 so far and intend to keep collecting them.
Saw this on Ebay... is a lovely example of this game and i would dearly love to own it,
But when i read "backglass was perfect.. now it has a crack in it"... I could bloody cry.

Such a shame.. really is

That's one hell of a bad crack.  Looks like it'd be very hard to reproduce with the mirror finish.
Definately a shame.

You wont get another... end of story.
Legs are missing but chances are they went out the door on another machine... STONER legs are a specific art deco design.

Its just sheer lack of respect for these machines that has seen this game have its beautiful backglass broken.
Rarity isnt expressed in $$$ terms for many of these games, but thats no reason not to treat them as anything but treasures.
Killing me that its a STONER!!!!
