Thermistor
« on: July 11, 2011, 11:37:43 AM »
My TAF started to reset occasionally and has recently deteriorated and constantly resets .
I had replaced all the usual suspects Capacitors and Bridge rectifiers as well as installing links as per clays guide during the restoration .
I have tracked the fault down to the Thermistor i have bridged it out temporarily and no more problems .
Trying to track down where i can buy this from none of the suppliers in Oz seem to stock them.
Jaycar dont seem to have a compatible type.
Any ideas  !@#

Details of the leaky thermistor mate?
Have found some in the past for some Williams machine, can't remember which one though.
Was on a driver board from memory.
I am assuming you are not talking about the main one on the 240V side, if so Jaycar have them.
Lets go Brandon!

I have plenty of stocks of both the NTC Thermistor and the MOV (suitable for 220V use).
