WILLIAMS SYSTEM 6 CREDIT BUTTON ISSUE?

Hi guys the start button on two of my williams system 6 machines have an issue when you push the start button it starts a two player game not every time but enough to annoy me.

     I've checked the cap on the switch replaced the plugs and pins but still the same everything else works as normal.   Hardly worth replacing chips for but if anyone has a suggestion?

Might be a little simplistic but might it be sticking a bit, perhaps not enough clearance between the contacts on the switch?
Just a thought, and its an easy fix!

Simple fix is what I'm after sadly the switch is gapped pretty well but yOu mentioning sticking maybe the actual button is sticking holding it closed???   I'll look into it
