New Apron Decals - cant recall best method

Hi all

I have a new decal from Flipper Rescue for my Mystic apron.
Apron is sprayed and ready to fit the decal.
I cant recall whether to use soapy water or Windex to put down under the decal so it can be moved around easily before I lay it down.
( I think it is soapy water )

The decal has a lot of clear area's on it and I don't want the 'liquid of choice' to dry in a milky way under there.
Anyone recall

I use a drop of dishwashing liquid - you should have an instruction sheet and squeegee with the decal ?

Approx 1 drop washing liquid to 1 ltr water.. wet both apron and decal back.
Move around to place into position.. hold down with finger tips and squeedgy from centre out

Drop of detergent in spray bottle, fine mist over apron worked 4 me

Is that Palmolive or Morning Fresh guys
