I had a similar experience with getting a Creature, was told the hologram was missing and priced appropriately and that it didn't affect the game play. I agree it doesn't affect the game play but once I created the hologram alternative it enhanced the game but in a way that I got 2 buzzes out of it. One when I got it and another when I upgraded it. As long as the price is fair and in time there is that stoked feeling of finding the parts and getting it running to a point of what it is meant to do is a great reward and I think you can even value it more.
I also agree with Brett from the perspective of a newbie that hasn't done any research and buy's it, but as long as they get it for a good price they will be stoked to upgrade it and enjoy to former glory.

I got the Head Motor/Gearbox from the U.S.and the coil from Mark.C ,  When I got my PZ the wiring from the Jaw coil was hacked and the old head motor was stufed. Replaced the opto board and the head control board to make it trouble free.
Since that picture of my head motor was taken I compleatly changed the wiring as the pink and red wire had a short. Top Game  ^^^

Hard to say Pete. ?   Surprisingly, I dont think they will be that expensive. I might be wrong, but similar stuff like that I have scourced has turned out to be rather inexpensive. Even if it costs a few hundred bucks, it would be money well spent. It is a fantastic game.

I will try n find the parts. It will then give the seller a few less reasons to hate me as much. (perhaps).

Stop bitching when you have no interest in the machine, always someone trying to stir up trouble........the head is available, the add states head missing and the low starting price reflects that.

The seller has advised me that he has sold the machine last night, has taken a deposit on it, has apparently already scourced the missing parts, will NOW be including those missing parts for free and will be delivering the machine to its new owner as well for free.

Hope this thread helped the buyer and this outcome may reflect that.

END OF STORY. WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE HERE. WELL DONE TO THE SELLER AND TO THE BUYER ON PICKING UP A GREAT MACHINE.  ^^^

For the record- the machine was mine. Nobody here bothered to contact me although my number was listed on the add. It clearly stated missing captain bizarre head yet certain trouble makers had to make a scene and call foul play. People that know me, and I have sold heaps of machines privately and to forum members know that I am as honest as they come. I have over 50 pins in stock and turn them around on a regular basis and most of them through recommendation or word of mouth. I'm sorry to tell you Brett, because I only know you from the stuff you post, that people like you are keeping people like me from advertising machines on the forum. You are welcome to respond as I have noticed that you are entitled to your own opinion and will always have the last say.

Partyzone sold to a buyer that was very happy with price and condition......he KNOWS pinballs and was happy with price and condition. Today he put a deposit on 2 more machines I have - and I sourced the missing head assembly for him.

Guys, talk, have fun, enjoy pinball but stop shooting people down until you know the full story.............. NOW END OF STORY
