Flipper coil Query
« on: December 02, 2011, 08:58:53 PM »
I just replaced a crook Flipper Coil on my Getaway, it was a FL-11630/50v and I replaced it with a new FL-11630/50v.
In the manuel it says the coil is a FL-11629.
Is there much difference in the two ?

Here's some info I posted awhile ago as I realised my creature and wh20 had different coils compared to the manual. The tend to have used the stronger coils to make the long shots or steep ramps but the stronger above the recommended you go the more risk of plastics damage.  Hope the info helps.

Thanks for the info  ^^^   The left flipper has the 11629 coil and the right flipper had the 11630 coil. and I could not see much difference in the power. I am able to make shots up into the supercharger and the loop without eney problem.

I found the top right flipper coil was wrong to, don't no why I dident see this ages ago  !@#
Replaced the top right flipper coil with the proper FL-11630 and the two lower flipper coils with FL-11629 as shown in the manuel.
And replace a bad e.o.s. switch at the same time.

Plyed a game and straightaway noticed the differeance with the top flipper  #*#

Pick is of the proper coils and new switch, and the new coil on the top flipper.
