tinkering with those legs.....
« on: February 27, 2012, 03:15:59 AM »
I don't know if this has been covered before here, but I was very frustrated with one of me machines play angle, of all things.
What I have found was a 70mm reduction in the front legs had more satisfying performance on the FirePower2.

Now before anyone thinks I have committed a serious crime, what I did was take measurements of many legs and then proceeded further by calculating what performed best humped over like this.

This plays better than the old girl did before, with more excitement as the bells and whistles go off sooner.

 Anyone else played with legs?

Phil.....

I just put 3" leg levellers on the back legs and wind them up till I get the speed I like.

It makes a huge difference on any machine.
I like to wind the back up also to give it a bit more speed, you don't want to fall asleep waiting for the ball to come down.
