Hello my Australian sirs and mams!
I am trying to raise some urgent money for a Documentary about the hard life of the worlds top pinball players, a story about the dedicated few that travels around the world in search for HighScores and fame!
The main focus will be on Scandinavian players who go over to America to play tournaments, this due to the fact that it is illegal to give out prize money in Sweden. Which by the way is a law based on a rumor that a young guy went to prostitute himself in the 70-s for money to play for.. The movie will also be about a few truly dedicated guys who struggle to collect everything pinball that comes their way for safe-keeping and restoration. Those guys were also in the will of a recent deceased gamedesigner who lived in San Francisco, so they will try to somehow freight a few containers of memorabilia from S.F to Stockholm with the help of an charismatic unemployed truck driver. I will film at tournaments in the U.S, Sweden and Norway until late autumn, with start i Seattle in no less then ten days if I get enough funding. The movie when done will be subtitled in English, and let free on the web. The link can be found here: http://www.fundedbyme.com/projects/2012/03/lutande-dorren/

Thats it!

Is your screenplay and storyboarding done?

Can you get a Arts grant from your Govt?

Why don't you try Stern or JJP, surely they would love to be involved as they have the pinball community at heart.

Best of luck.

Our Govt loves throwing money around for the arts, I am unsure of other countries and their policies though.

Looking for Govt funding is loooong process over here, and this needs to be done rather quickly.
And TV stations / Production companies wont touch anything aimed towards such a niched crowd.
