For the price you paid - That's a steal  @@*

Best thing about this game is that you are forced into respray. Looking at the playfield and backglass - the respray will compliment the rest of the game. RTBB holds a crapload of GTB parts, so you might only need a small order from PBR for Game Specific parts. Plastics are not available, but you can ask PBR if they are considering making them. I can't see the chime box.

Congrats - I would be very pleased if I scored this game..

How "game" are you to fire it up ? What problems did the seller describe to you ?

thanks. i will fire it up, bout to get some visitors so prob tommorrow. i agree about the respray - no moral/ehtical dliemmas lol chime box is intact under that flap of carboard on the bottom right of the inside cab pic (the cardboard which is very obvioulsy a box flap(!) is screwed to the top of the chime box (?wtf) maybe to deaden the sound? em volume control?. seller said it was powering up but not starting a game so don't think there is much wrong but i'm obvioulsy clueless until i read up a bit. i think a good one to lose my em virginity on :-)

i'll power up and describe the results tommorrow.

First things first - make sure you have credits on the credit wheel - yep - seen it before!

update. i bit the bullet and powered this thing up today...

there's nothing wrong with it! played about 10 games for a HS of 80K. a few globes to replace and a couple of rubbers but working a treat. the guy told me it wouldn't start games but maybe gav was right and he didn't put credits on it??

one question for the EM guys, the 10's digit on the score reels a little sticky, sometimes only half way down and takes a couple of seconds longer than the others to reset, but does always reset. what should i be looking for to fix?

can't wait to shop this thing out (have got plenty of tips from the jacks open thread thnx) thanks again ford. cheers!

HA HA..

(Snippet to all the guys that say ems are hard to maintain  ^^^)

Good one Stu !

I think that the score reel plungers are dirty and will need a clean - especially if they have been lubed !

sometimes - You just need to "play it" for a while and it will fix itself (if the problem is not as described above)

you make me laugh. a few more games last night saw the score reel fix itself. they should have patented that concept - the more you play the better they fix themselves. lol
got some cab pics coming for the repaint. starting to think about leaving the mylar on and just fixing the couple of tears.

seeing how these work really completes the picture of the evolution of electronics. amazing to see where we have come from in such a short space of time.
