Probably the best MB in Australia but $12,000??? Dunno...Goes to show there are still $$$ out there for top shelf desirable titles.

Certainly a good price.  Clearly a lot of hard work went into the machine.  Me I would much rather buy 6 x projects  $#$

Given it was not purchased from a dealer - ie w/o warranty etc. people are prepared to spend money which is a good sign.
Definately the best photo's on a pin auction other than Treasure-Cove I've ever seen on Ebay.

Im with you Martj. It looks like a great machine but i'd rather buy an Indiana Jones + Swords of Fury + Terminator 2 and still get some change for a project !@#

Way passed my budget, but good on Finney getting the bucks he did. You have to admit, he put a shit load of work into it and it does look bwedaful. I did have a think at $8900 whether to go for it but $12K...I can't warrant a machine.

But then I don't have that kinda bucks to splurg.

Well done Finney I happy for ya.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

Well, to me it was 'better than new' given what he had done with it. Definitely a collector's item.

But that is a lot of dollars for a pinball machine. The problem would be you would be scared to play it in case you devalued your investment!

Last I heard re Finny he was cleaning up the smoke-damaged pins, the electricity was being put back on at the premises and he was looking to open some time this half of the year. And raising some cash by selling a nicely done up pinball machine.

$12K buys a nice car with far more moving parts and can take you places too ;-)

There was a saying about a fool and his money.......  !*!

Great price in the end,but hard to say if i would let my son and his mates play it if i own it.Be to paranoid that they would break it or scratch it.
