Question for ebay addicts.

Does anyone else get watched items reminders from ebay sent to their email AFTER the item has already ended?  

Had an item in my watched list which finished tonight at 6pm. The email reminder for this exact item from ebay just landed in my inbox 5 minutes ago at 10:10pm - "get your watched item before it's gone - bid now".

I can't see anything in my ebay watched item settings to get more timely reminders?

PS: The item listing finished as scheduled and didn't end early.

Very common. The entire eBay system is very 'clunky' - you would think they could employ people that had far better skills with the amount of dosh they make?

As a seller, try to even look at eBay on a Friday after about 10am EST and you have no hope. Mostly it will return "your password is not recognised" or simply a blank page.….pretty pathetic considering than even on my couple of pissy little accounts I pay them over AU$1K per month most months....not really good enough.

But then there is PayPus..............don't get me started, I'm on a first name basis with one girl at the Banking Ombudsmans office - hahaha

No, mine usually come hours (usually 5 or 6 sometimes 8 or 9) before the auction end, which is OK I guess.

Most of the things I watch are just out of interest in the final price anyway...

Hey my item finished at 6pm today.  I don't have your problem but eBay drives me crazy where you see heaps watching your item and then you hear crickets for the entire listing.
