I'm still on the hunt for diner stuff, or odd bits that is sort of that hotrod diner burger joint style. im even considering those flip ball games as i never heard or seen before this forum on this post
http://aussiepinball.com/index.php?topic=7787.msg103609#msg103609

ive been buying reproduction softdrink promo tin signs and have started to put them up on the walls, also bought a "diner" tin sign that looks cool, would love to find one of those cast iron coke or pepsi door signs, also interested in door pushers with adverts on them for softdrinks, sort of hard to explain what i am after as im sort of going with the flow and seeing what pops up, reason im asking on this forum as some of the games room you boys have has been very inspiring to how i want to settup the shop. it really has got me motivated to go down this sort of route, things like milk shake signs and what not would be cool. i have managed so far to avoid petrol style signage but open to hearing what you may have in your collection or games room you may want to part with you might think i may want or could use, and if you are wanting to sell, cheers

ok bit more of an update on cool oldschool stuff for my shop, decided an oldschool looking gumball machine is a must, and i knocked up this indoor roof looking thing for the booth seating when i get that far, so i bolted it upto that structure, bit of old school dodgy engineering on a bracket lol all looks good imo. and most importantly a Pinball machine in the wild. will post more interesting things as i get them, its hard finding time to do all this stuff as i do it my self it will get there in the end

Been after one of these or the Mystic Swami version for a few years now. Highly collectable items and often selling for US$200+... even beat up ones fetch US$160+

yer i got out bid on this machine, i have been montoring the price of these machines for a while now, $200-$475 seems to be the going rate for machines that condition however, this one went to $455 aus dollars which is not usual two people got in a bidding war from what it looks like, and i am bidding on another now.

well retropin. i managed to finally win one of these, ive bid on about 5 over the last months, ive also had to go on ebay usa and go looking asking for sellers who would be willing to ship to Australia, many wouldn't, so i was very limited to choice for a while there, some reached as high as $700, i manged to win this one for $350, they are going up in price it seems, anyways here is the one i finally won, i recon these are one of the coolest little coin op machines around and i doubt to many cafes in Australia have one.  also comes with other faceplates for it which allows you to change the machine and can put different cards to suit the faceplate. thats a bonus, the faceplates sell for $60 each on ebay

Good score mate!!  popular little buggers these and  its very suprising just how much $$ they command. Ive been amassing the fortune slips for some years now... but still no napkin holder to put them in for ol Gav...LOL

Yes... you have found the main problem many oif us have when dealing with US sellers... many REFUSE to let Americana leave the country... its a real pain!

so you have a big stash of these cards?? did you buy them here or from the usa?? i see tonnes for sale over there nice and cheap. what is so cool is, when the customers use the machine they will receive actual real vintage 1950-60's fortune cards

I am prety stocked with this, i had to beg the lady selling it to ship it to aus, she finally agreed as was simpethic to my situation of not being able to buy one here. prety happy to have a cool coin opp item like that here.
