If I get drunk enough I will give it a shot.
So there is a very good chance of it happening.

yes, I am in, I will give it a go as well. Theres a few machines i want.
I have sent a email and am expecting a phone call back tomorrow.

It shld be $3999 plus $500 plus $75 equals $4574. add a shaker myself will be $200 and delivery say $200 equals $4974. Compared to $6600, which is a saving of $1626.00..........

I will only hand my money over if i pay by paypal, and the item can arrive within 40 days, and I have a real physical address to go to so i can determine first if it is all legit or not...........I am wondering does new in box mean sited or actually brand spanking new n never used ever......a little more homework to do......because NO-ONE in the USA is selling BNIB for less than $4750 to $4,999......... !@#

In the email I got it says they are brand new machines. I don't know if I believe it but that is what it said.

It also said no more to pay besides from step converter, prices start at $3999. No $500 to pay on top of purchase price.

Once again I don't know if I believe it but that is what it said.

OK< that means its a $2126 plus saving.......

my question, which i hoped to get answered tomorrow by phone, is how is he buying machines at $3999 and selling at that price, incl shipping n customs n maybe gst etc, when no one in the USA is doing machines for less than $4750 plus a few hundred delivery ?

either way, i will smell out the finer details tomorrow n report back....

$4750 inc delivery and thats from a dealer or onseller... price to buy direct from factory would be better than that, but i see your point

Gav, Its a genuine question, how can u be selling machines at $3,999 when others in the USA are charging almost a thousand dollars more, and they dont have to pay overseas shipping, australian gst, import taxes/customs etc etc.

Sometimes if its too good to be true, its too good to be true.

If the bloke doesnt answer my questions, he doesnt get my money, and it will be me telling him to take a walk, then i will report back that its
fishy(if it is) and he will lose alot more sales from the other AP members potentially.

If he is a decent businessman, he will understand exactly why i might think the deal is a bit too cheap, I am sure if he wants my money he will explain things and take my questions in his stride. Put it this way, I wont be asking him any questions he probably hasnt been asked 100 times before from many other pinheads.

Lets see what he has to say, and I will report back the facts only etc. Stay tuned.  ^^^

Seems not, unless there is a big Stern Fugly range (which there isn't) as the ad says - "Avator,Rolling Stones,Transformers, X-men, AC/DC,Avengers plus more" (like the spelling of Avatar!)

But as it says "All Brand new in a box Pinballs from $3,999.99 each", so you could be right, with Transformers Fugly being the loss leader price??

$3,999.00, includes GST, so net of GST that leaves $3,635.45. Take off import costs and duties, say $500.00, leaves $3,150.00 approx as his buy price with profit. Means the cost price for the $3,999.00 sale price has to be $2,???.00 - something well under $3,000.00.

Be interesting to see the results of the enquiries members are making.

The thing I find odd about this is that when he first listed it he had buy it now of $6,999.99, which is more than what you can buy one locally for. Next time I checked the price was $3,999.99.

As said  earlier, machines won't work locally without the mod board,  no warranty locally on actual machine.  Prices don't add up on shipping either a full container of these or LCL.... Who's name is on bill of lading...  Will be interested in Cavey's response from seller.

I had also been emailing this seller asking questions about deposits  WARRANTIES etc ( before I had reads this part of this thread ) and have not had a reply

To me , if a business doesnt reply to a customer within 48 hours – tats pretty crappy service anyway AND in this case wehre we are sceptical to start with , it make someone like me even MORE sceptical.

I think I asked some questions that were too hard   !@#  #@#
