Who has the nicest balls ?

Who has the nicest balls ?  !@#

Its not a question I have ever asked a batch of blokes before, but my balls are rusty, stock as a rock from Stern, and I want some really shiny nice balls !

I dont know if u have had the same problem or not, but with any of my BNIB Stern games, the balls were rusty on arrival, and then rusty only a few days after I first played with my balls. Some say u shld buy bling balls, some say u shld buy stock balls, but the balls I bought before came in a box of apx 200 and i have used them all for all of my machines, but I am noticing the quality is not the best, and they get pitted very fast, and then they are no good.

Can different people supply a link to anyone with a std sized silver ball which u reccommend, and then tell me why they are the best balls please.

All reccomendations will be considered for a large batch purchase.

I've used BLING in the past and have been very happy. I was also very impressed with the ultra high gloss pinballs from PL.

I have noticed that with balls that came from everyone except pbresource, they don't seem to rust.
Others like to go rusty within a week

I use BLING.
When I first got BIB LE, the lower playfield started showing black sooty deposits after about one month of play with the standard Stern balls. I gave it a good clean, changed to BLING balls and have had no need to clean the playfields for past 11 months. Says it all.

Ebay often lists in various batches of 25 to 100 balls.
For example:

It appears that i cant use BLING balls on any game that has magnets that randomly throw the ball around the playfield.
Thats a definate NO NO for X Men and Avengers. I will have to check my AC/DC cause I think it has some magnets under the playfield as well, so it looks like any game that has various magnets, HAS to use standard carbon steel balls......

I guess I could test a set of bling chrome balls in say X Men which has heaps of under playfield magnets etc, but according to the seller, he has advised against it....?........

? has anyone else used the chrome bling balls on their machines which DO have the random magnets kicking in etc, and did it affect it or not.....
It would be interesting if alot of people have used these bling balls and didnt realise their gameplay might have been affected by it and they didnt realise ?  !@#

maybe, i shld just stick to his std steel balls for example....

I am sure the Australian sellers have the same product, and hopefully the aussie prices will be good, and a bit of a saving on postage.

I will do a list of what i find for the aussie sellers, and list them on the thread and hopefully it can help anyone else who is wondering about fixing their own balls up.

Chrome balls can magnetise very quickly - i accidently put them in my TOM and had trough issues within a couple of days (prob 15 games) where they magnetised and stuck together.

Bling do make a carbon steel ball as well i though - just not quite as 'mirror' finish

Carbon balls are less prone to magnetise but they too can eventually cause sticking and trough problems.
Like I said, my ACDC and Avengers have Blink balls and I have not (yet) experienced magnetized issues. The playfield is certainly cleaner where the rag would come up grey after a wipe following a number of plays with standard carbon balls.
The following article is very good and useful for anyone with balls of steel.

Cavey , go see Tony at The Pinball Shed in Brisbane . He is the authorised distributor for Bling Pinballs in your area . As already mentioned make sure you get either chrome balls or carbon steel balls ( depending on whether your game has magnets or not ) .

Ill see if I can find them had an acdc NIB and one of the balls loocked like it had been cut in half roughly welded back together then polished it was a bloody disgrace specially for a premium.

My acdc balls were shit as well but not that bad.
