Wow, speechless.....what an amazing restoration. I look forward to stepping back in time and playing what will seem like a brand new Bally Flash Gordon. No other Flash Gordon will ever be the same after playing this one.

Thanks very much guys, I'm beginning to see that little light flickering at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait to have a game myself.
Since the last update I've finished of the rest of the playfield except for the plastics which I'll leave off as long as I can and I've started replacing all of the connectors in the back box. Once this is done I'm going to put the playfield back in  and iron out any/all faults with the game before pulling it out again and starting on the cabinet.

I haven't had as much time as I'd like to work on this lately but I'm very happy tonight guys. Just plugged it all in and began testing and only a couple of switch adjustments on two of the pop bumpers and the left flipper EOS switch and its 100% working straight off the bat! 
 I had planned on taking everything back out and starting on the cabinet as soon as I'd finished testing that's why I hadn't installed many of the playfield plastics but I think ill fit them off and play it for a week or two before starting the cabinet.

Is the ball trough metal area zinc or chrome plated ? WOW !

So far I've re-zinced  everything that was originally zinc and re-chromed everything that was originally Chrome but The actual ball trough appeared to be nickel plated so this was nickel plated.

A very small update here with hopefully some bigger updates soon. I've removed everything from the cabinet and the new one will be ready soon. In the mean time here's the apron panel beaten straight, resprayed and decal applied. I had a sign writer cold laminate in a satin finish over the top of the decal to lock-in and protect Sam J Jones's (Flash's) autograph. You'll obviously notice that I've used original looking apron cards, I do have some newer looking coloured ones as well that I may use but at the moment I really want to make it look as close to original as possible. I'm really happy with the way it came up.
