EM machine wanted
« on: March 11, 2013, 05:47:02 PM »
Hi there,

I have a friend in Brisbane who said he would love to get hold of a EM machine from the 70s.

Any available out there?

Tony T from 'The Pinball Shed' bought in a lot of EM machines from Europe recently. Might be worth having a chat to him !

I have a very neat King Pin for sale, bit far away though.

Might be worth checking with Gav (Retropin) as he might have one for sale.

I have over 50 "hand picked" EMs in storage and another 30 collectibles on their way. I restore and ship to Queensland collectors without any problems. My list is here ;

When buying a project or non working game, look for signs of rust and corrosion. A lot of games out of Europe are heavily corroded. Do your research - many titles are conversions for the Italian market, or "add a ball" games which are not worth as much as replay (traditional credit versions). Look for the correct legs and ensure chimes are installed.

There's nothing more enjoyable than working and reliable EM. Best of luck with the quest !
