I do not use novus very often as it is quite abrasives. I just remove dust with Mr. Sheen. No additional cleaning was required in the first ten month.
I have access to top quality German very fine car paint polishes (Menzerna final finish) which I prefer over novus. Removes super fine scratches and gives great gloss finish.
