Stern Machine A better Power Splitter
« on: May 18, 2013, 06:53:18 AM »
A lot of guys have more than a few powered mods in their Stern pinball machines that are powered by the 5v/12v connector at the coin door.  Instead of using a splitter, connected to a splitter, connected to a splitter, consider using my new FTS-8 board.

It's available at my web site and from Pinball Life for $24.95 + Shipping.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

The problem is that the cheapest option with tracking is still $25.00

I can offer the option of international first class postage which costs $10.  However, without tracking I can't guaranty delivery..  Which is a bummer.

If you'd like to order with the $10 shipping send me an email at mike@dkpinball.com and I'll send you an invoice at the lower rate.

The tracking is only good to the border.. after that the sender cannot track the item at all, neither can the buyer. All tracking does is tell you it went to the airport sorting depot.
You wont know its been delivered until the buyer tells you so.

This is how it works with Aus Post international anyway. recent set of stencils sent to USA with tracking... buyer is emailing me asking why the item appears to still be at the airport depot in Australia and not moving..... it is moving, but its no longer trackable from a different postal service. Item arrived next day after the email

No, the ONLY thing tracking is good for is to prove to PayPus that you sent an item and prevent a chargeback - I get this almost weekly.

Don't know if anyone else ordered one of these but I did on the 19th and payed and after several emails I haven't heard a thing? I'm hoping its been sent! luckily I paid with PP so may have some protection but just thought I'd warm others.

Hey Pete,

You should be fine mate, i got my Flynn sign and PIG 1 from him no problems. I think you will find that the mail service you got will be very slow, i would give it a month before you start to worry.

From memory he was a little slow to reply but certainly not bad, i would not be too worried mate.  ^^^
