« on: September 08, 2008, 02:34:19 AM »
If anyone of you are attending Expo this year we are the subject of the fireside chat:

Thursday Fireside Chat: Nucore - Today’s Answer to Pinball 2000 (Botanic Ballroom)
Speaker Chuck Hess and Don Weingarden with guest moderator Gary Flower.

I will have my development machine there running Nucore.  There will be familiar faces and if you are going to expo I welcome you to attend.

I'm pretty sure someone is recording it.  I hope they shoot a vid too.

I personally contacted a number of people from the original pinball 2000 team and invited them to either speak or get a personal demonstration of Nucore.  I got a couple of definates, a couple of that will try to make it, and one who was confirmed may not show if the Chicago Cubs end up playing a home game at night that thursday.  If they play a day game or an away game he'll come.  I can't fault him because I've been a Cubs fan since I was a kid =)

We'll also have RFM running on nucore on the exhibit hall all day Friday.  So everyone will get a chance to try it out and we'll get to do some serious pre-alpha testing ;-)

Great work Chuck in getting some of the original bodies there. Can you get a copy of any recording made over to us here as there's plenty of interest.

Cheers,
Nick

Amazing to think that original P2000 team members might be present... I guess if they had Nucore technology back on the production days, things might be a little different  8)
