my god man
now that was a nightmare.
i did see a driving arcade video game a couple of weeks ago going cheap on ebay (well half of it was) the seat half of the machine was stolen or lost in transit.
so all he had was the stearing wheel half, which with the way it was made it would have been near impossible to play without sitting down.

it would be so much easier if still i lived in melbourne.
i would just latch a trailer to the car and pick up my pin.
the worst thing now is that it will be raining most of next week so on with the tarps.
then im sure the tarp will start flapping away when im on the motorway.
so ill have to pull up under a bridge and tie it all down hopping  to the all mighty pinball god that the water hasn't got to the wood or electronics.
owe well gives me time to make more room in my garage for it.

Its not so good living in Melbourne and within a driving distance to Mark & Geoff's....Always seem to be buying pins and when I'm not I am down there looking at my next purchase!

Anyway, last time I picked on up, it was a rare day and a little bit of rain in Melbourne.  Mark kindly wrapped the machine in plastic - looked like a jumbo roll of gladwrap...round and round up and down on the pin.  I then had a couple of tarps of it too.  Tarps got wet on top, dry as underneith.  Probably didn't need the plastic but you dont want water on a machine....!

Good luck

It was raining when I picked my pins up, too. A big tarp plus some blocks of wood to lift the pins off the tray did the trick.

Yes, big breakthrough was a courier's signature that was actually legible!
Another annoyance was the machine passed within 1Km of where I lived and travelled a further 40 Kms to their depot. ^&^

i hope i never have to go thru an epic journey to retrieve a pin...

It's pretty bad when the seller practically has to fit a temporary GPS transmitter beacon inside the pin so you have 1/2 a chance of tracing it's wherabouts ;-(

LAH rules!  I did mine up, but sadly sold it for a Getaway.  My missus is still angry at me for it!
