i went to power her up but it still had the os plug on it.
so i fitted a new plug on it powered it up and it blew the 4 amp fuse in side the bottom cabinet.
it says it is 220vac so i checked the jumpers on the tranie, they were set for 220v so i checked the bridge rectifiers (no fuse holder in line with these) they were ok. so i replaced the fuse and disconnected the secondary windings (output) of the tfx and powered it up.
i then turned it off and checked the new fuse i put in, it was fine.
so i then connected one of the tfx output plugs (lighting circuits) and powered it up again, no probs the gen illumination lit up.
so i powered down and hooked up the other output plug, powered up and she came to life.
.
So I then had a close look at the original blown fuse, and what do you know it was a 4 amp standard 3ag fuse not a slow blow.
some one o.s. must have borrowed the fuse then replaced it with a standard fuse.
