I wrote to the guys with my focus being towards making a mame cabinet dedicated using this product and the answer is yes it will be mame suitable - so looking forward to this, and they will be designing around a second dmd screen 

this is what he had to say.

Thanks for getting in touch.

I'm pleased to say we will be supporting cabinets and second screens for DMD display. Resolution wise, we will initially be supporting resolutions as high as 2880x1800, ultimately we will also support 4K displays too!

The Kickstarter video will show the game running in portrait mode (though not the cabinet specific view we will be creating).
