Handrail very dirty.
Any tips on removing the excess dirt off this wooden handrail would be appreciated.

Kev - I have the cigarette holders in storage. I'll grab one next time I'm down there.

Keep the updates coming and if you need anything, let me know. Ironically, I will be picking up the leftover Bingos in another storage building later this year.

Oh goody oh goody  ^^^

  Looking forward to that NiƱo

  Looking good Kev
Try Magic eraser on the lock bar that stuff is brilliant

I think you will have to remove the metal fittings and sand back the lock down bar. The problem might be that some of the scratches might be so deep that it cannot be sanded back completely, and those scratches will be more pronounced. I would attempt to sand it back. As with all the wooden skirtings and siderails, these should be lacquered or varnished to the same finish.

I'll have a look for the cigarette holder this weekend and if there's anything else you need, just let me know (before the weekend).

Might be able to help you there mate. Short version - The Bally Bingos walled up in another building are going to be removed before Christmas this year. I'm told there are either 6 or 16 Bingos, with spares, backglasses and paperwork. They are all collectible 50's games - Miss America (mine!), Cypress Gardens, Ballerina, Key West, Showtime, Miami Beach and I think there's more.

Hopefully, there will be tons of parts as well. I already found a NOS stepper unit.
