Homepin replacement boards
« on: August 06, 2013, 10:10:45 PM »
I had to buy some new flipper opto boards the other day for my Johnny Mnemonic as one of the optos had gone bad.

Ordered a set of Homepin's repo boards - the Type II version and I must say they are very impressive. They swapped straight over and were just plug-n-play. The kids are happily giving JM a work over and the new boards work a treat. I especially like the green LEDs on the boards that come on and show that each opto is actually working.

If anyone is in need of some new opto boards give Homepin's a try ^^^

I've attached a couple of photos to show the LED's functioning. In the first image they are actually off but they still show up a bit green from the camera flash. In the second photo they are on and have a bit more of a glow, but in real life that are actually very bright.
