Well done, I can't believe the state of the old PF, some operators just don't care for their pins

At first I thought it was just part of the design, then I realised it was wear! Worse than the EBD that was for sale on eBay.

That's the fun of chasing these pins. You have the opportunity to buy and install repro playfields. The pin must be a "keeper" to justify the efforts.

Its awsome that you can get new playfields for these classic machines if you dont mind me asking whats a new PF worth roughly?

i saw it on monday when i picked up my jokerz
the backglass is nice but the rest needs ,,, well ill say it needs some work
if you didn't buy it i would have bought it last monday
good score for under a grand though.
guess who he bought it off?

Good pickup, Beaky. No ROMs. Hopefully the MPU board is ok as the Sys7 boards are a pain to fix.

Havnt looked for the rom set yet...I will get the machine and get MickB to get it up and running 100% with the crappy playfield before i go for the swap...Just need to get the KISS back from him first so i can sell it on ebay..then i will have more cash to spend on the BK

Playfield is getting the 5 coats of clear done to it now but takes them 3 weeks to do it...then it will get sent to me air freight...then cant use it for 45 days....needs to cure....

They would be the right ROMs, Paul. Just wait until you get the machine to double check - You may need speech ROMs as well - and the seller will do them as well.

Silly question, perhaps, but what's wrong with downloading the ROMs from say IPDB and burning them yourself (or asking someone else to burn them for you)?
