Silly question, perhaps, but what's wrong with downloading the ROMs from say IPDB and burning them yourself (or asking someone else to burn them for you)?
thats what i was offering above, so no it is not a silly question at all, infact thats one of the reasons forum exists isn't it, so we can help each other out?

That's all the eBay guy was offering anyway, if you read the description.

Some great suggestions here - Paul - Maybe start up a "wanted" Thread for the ROMs and maybe someone here will burn you a set - could be a cheaper and quicker option.

There is a guy on here to whom I sent a bunch of EPROMs and in exchange he burnt the English Mousin' Around! ROMs for me (two ROMs).

It is Pinballer - PM him as he may still have some leftover EPROMs from the lot I sent him. Hopefully he won't mind me sending people his way!

I do have a programmer myself but it needs testing and probably fixing; then I need to see if I have any more EPROMs left.

Beaky is also offering to burn EPROMs (see above).

Are there any legal or copyright issues with burning ROMs? I wouldn't have thought it was a problem if it is for home use, and the person burning them isn't profiting from it.

its fine to burn williams roms as long as you dont charge for the software, you can charge for the roms and the labour involved but not the williams software.
i am not sure on other pinball manufactures software though.
hope this helps
