Finally with the help and support from a few AP guys (daniel, blair and peter - thanks guys especially a big callout for Daniel
) I have a mod for the AC/DC Premium and LE's that is complete and ready to go to those that want them.
Attached below are 2 finished pics of the mod stained up, as well as a unstained "Timber Beam" mod fitting nicely to the aluminium block. In addition Daniel sent me a video with the glass off his machine of the bell doing multiple spins around ensuring the mod does not hit the opto in either direction.
This mod is very simple to install piece, as it is just centred over the aluminium block and slides down hiding the screws on the right side and it has 2 locking tabs to hold it in place and some ribs to keep it centred - no screws, no tape, no glue and easily removable.
The "hells bells" is engraved as well as some designed in artificial cracks and growth rings made from a very strong durable plastic.
The price is $25 plus postage ($7.00 postage, $1.00 for the box / tube) = $33 to your door. And if a few of you want them to one destination the postage will not cost any more so team up with a few mates and save a few dollars. I have 1 plain timber one ready and 11 engraved "Hells Bell" ones ready to go.
Note: the each item is exactly the same with only the stain varying slightly with each one but I will ensure each will have that timber look.
