Duotron Cabinet Cleanup
« on: April 08, 2009, 11:08:35 PM »
Gday all.
Here's a few pics of my Gottlieb Duotron cab that I have recently cleaned to remove years of Nicotine stains .. trying to make her look her best as will be going to Ebay in the next couple of days.. I think she looks a lot better .. a combination of Goof Off, Sugar soap, elbow grease and many beers (for me, not the machine  %.%)

Front view before and after

I need more room ! and more $$$

Thats a very clean machine after removing all the filthy nicotine !

The gouge is VERY nasty - wonder how that happened ?

That backglass is a ripper - is it original or did you replace it with NOS or something?

Dave,

That Doutron looks nice - sad to see you selling her. Are you replacing it with another pin or the Lady Luck?

As mentioned in the Daniel's Magnotron post - really dig that backglass   *%*

Gday Tony .. yes it is sad to see her go .. Lady Luck will be taking her place .. unfortunately I have limited room , as I've mentioned before.
Will probably sell a couple of my other games this year too , to make room for some new ones. Spanish Eyes will be staying though *%*

Its funny how some backglasses survived my backglass would be an 8-9 out of 10 aswell. Also that is a nasty little scrape down the side but it all adds character lol Good luck with the sale

The paint on my Soccer is yellowed as well. I was wondering if I could use sugar soap to clean it up and now my question has been answered. I will have to get into it. #*#

Just taking some Pics of this machine for when I put it on Ebay soon.
Thought you might like to see how the PF looks now .. took me 3 years to get around to it, but recently I stripped it (again) and cleaned off the ball swirl and track marks .
Didn't know about the ME and alcohol trick when I originally cleaned it when i bought the machine.

Why not offer it for sale here before eBay?
