my tz the drain monster
« on: February 06, 2014, 08:59:29 PM »
Ever since the pf swap this game is absolutely kicking my arse. I mean really kicking it like 30m point games the norm. Either she's playing way too hard compared to the old pf or maybe I've become a really shit player. I can't wait for Greg's comments.

The posts are on easy, but maybe someone can check my flipper positioning and gradient see photos and comment whether theres a problem

While the bubble shows 6.5 degrees, I never trust the built in bubble - it can be out quite a bit.

Note too that some games I have set up at six degrees play better (and drain less) at 6.5, and even 7.

your games a lot faster because of the new play field / clear coat  new rubber etc
same happens to me every time I have a game restored just give it time to break it in….

plus Nicks correct you may need to adjust and re- level to slow it down… it happens to a lot of older people Rob

Your right flipper looks a couple of mm lower than the left. Also, check the level across the machine towards the rear and front. I found that just half a degree out could turn any machine into a drain monster.

If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.

you were going so well until the end. You had to bring up the age thing.

And thanks to the others for your suggestions, I'll investigate. I just didn't know whether the flippers might not be aligned well??
