Nintendo Virtual Boy help required
« on: March 02, 2014, 05:17:12 PM »
Hi Guys
Do any of you and a Nintendo virtual boy game console?    Its red virtual goggles and a controller I've been asked to try repair a store display unit but it has no game card.

If anyone owns one do they still boot up without a game card ?  This one does nothing when powered on except a sound pulse.     And if possible could I borrow a game to try this don't really want to spend to much to find out its stuffed

No worries Daniel.
Actually just fired it up.
Nothing in the display without a gamecard but you can/should feel the motor running, which spins the internal mirrors.

Let me know if you need me to check anthing else or if you want me to send down a game.

Steve.

Ok so it might be ok when I look into the lenses I can see a faint line that fades out wen I turn it off mirrors spinning could explain that.    If I can borrow a game card would be awsome

  Thanks steve
