 When I first spoke to him he was very softly spoken.. the other day he was just  the complete opposite.
He is not on his way, he is more likely feeling like a right tit right now, but it still needs to be sorted. I might even list the machine again just to push this along a bit.. && &&

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Hmmm, nice pinball title.

Selling and buying pinballs isn't meant to be this hard.. pretty sure of that

Well he is in a corner himself as he cannot raise a dispute. I would teach this internet tough guy a lesson, and it worked for me ;

Take the machine outside on the veranda. Take a photo and send it to his phone. Watch how quickly he organizes transport.

I cant refund his money.. I don't have any details to do so.
The $800 is on top of shipping costs.. so its an $800 apology.. holy crap, I just want this over!

My guess is in the cold light of day he's now shitting himself that the police might be involved.

Personally I would be wary taking the extra bucks even if he's offering, given his unpredictability he's likely to turn around next week and demand it back or something.

If it was a direct transfer from one account to yours then the bank can reverse it.
If it was cash deposit then it will be hard.

Too many warning flags on this.  Walk,  no run.
Just ask for his bank details for refund.

Maybe recommended him to a local dealer,  that's why they charge the huge overheads.
