Hi guys, where is the best place to buy Frisket and is there a particular brand that you'd recommend for playfield work?
Thanks.

I guess the first thing you need to work out is do you want low tack - standard or high tack type before you go looking??

I would try a signwriter supplies shop but you might find they only sell rolls?

How about an arts supply place?

I have found it pretty expensive in small quantities.

I ended up buying a big roll 63cm x 23M from this place in the UK:

https://www.jacksonsart.com/search.php?input_search=frisket&stock=0&x=-1350&y=-56

I was using frisket on my cabinet so needed a lot.   %.%

Seems expensive but for the amount you get I think it worked out pretty good compared to other online suppliers I had looked at and purchasing smaller quantities. Postage was only $11 AUD too and it was here within a week.

Thanks for the responses guy. I've just ordered from the Art Scene. I should have thought of these guys, I've brought triple thick from them before. Very friendly and helpfully on the phone.

A roll of clear application tape ( which is what I use) @610mm wide X 100 metres will cost around $90 from a sign supply company

Jezza that's a good price, I'd never need to buy any ever again.
I haven't used Frisket but from what I've been reading it appears that it will make life a little easier with the KoS playfield restore. It's a funny thing painting playfieds, it's probably the most fun and the least fun thing I've done to a machine. Parts of the process are dull and time consuming but it's very satisfying when things turn out as hoped which doesn't always happen for me. It's been very much trial and error, all in all enjoyable though.

Thats the stuff I use.

I ordered the Frisket from Art Scene with some triple thick yesterday afternoon over the phone and come home for lunch today with it sitting at my doorstep. How good is that for service! Less than 24 hrs, fantastic.
