Recel pinball machine to buy or not to buy this is the question.

I'm keen on an em project (new to em machines). I have read up on recel machines not much info out there. What I have read seems like there a tad hard to work on (relays).

But interested in any of your views on recel machines.

They are no harder to work on than any other EM.. the Jones plugs on these and Playmatics are very flaky though.
Recel and Playmatic games are not the most desirable.. normally very limited game play with not a lot of imagination thrown in. These 2 manufacturers are a classic example of Europe just not quite getting it right.
At $700 though, its overpriced and not worth a cent over about $450.
If you are prepared to spend $700 or a little more on an EM then there is much much better buying out there IMO

Cabinets are typically chipboard, that one doesn't show the lockdown bar and even thou they look similar to Gottlieb ones they will not fit.

Yeah I have asked if the lock down bar is there.
