Bally Viking, has anyone played it?
there is one on e-bay, trashed playfield, but it does look like an interesting layout
Plus some genius has sealed the backglass
I would not buy this game but is it worth putting on my list?

Viking is a nice play and nice to look at, not too many around. I would not buy this example as it looks like it needs some major dollars put in.

If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

Great player and great artwork. Has "in line" drop targets like Paragon and has elements of Mata Hari and Playboy. It's design looks like it took ideas from previous games. The sounds are simple (no speech), and they are the electronic sounds similar to Space Invaders. A HARD game to track down, and although it does not play like Fathom, the art package is just as good.

I was interested in this one also until I saw the pictures. If repo playfields were available I'd probably give it a go but in its current condition it to much for me to worry about. In general though I like the look of this title.

Yes, this jumped out at me also. Backglass reminded me of Medusa. Great artwork!

Have one of these in my collection and the artwork is stunning, especially the backglass.  Interesting player as well with the inline drop targets and one way gates in the outlanes.

It llok like the game was made as a filler to keep the production line running
As you say, it seem to borrow elements of games Bally made two years before

Had a bit closer look at the photos and looks like shots from the dealer's house. Dunno if he is trying to  move it on quickly or not but won't respond to emails  !@#

I was not planning on buying that game
with the worn playfield and the sealed with red paint backglass, the machine on ebay has nothing going for it

I had never taken much notice of this title, and wanted to know if it was worth getting one eventually

I'd like to play a few games on it too. It's got all the traits of the late seventies early eighties bally and the artist is in the backglass.
I'm another fan of in line drops.
