I think it's a Stern Meteor. Someone else might be able to confirm.

This one keeps coming back.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

This. Not to take away from the work involved or those who enjoy machines from this era, but if they had rebadged a DMD or designed one from scratch (a'la Coconut Island) then I could justify the asking price.

$16,000 and one bid. Hmmmm.  #@#

This guy was obviously very passionate about creating this pin, it’s not a commercial venture and I’m sure he’s put an awful lot of time and money into creating his one of a kind machine. From the pictures I’ve seen I think it looks awesome and he’s done a fantastic job.  The downside is that spending large sums of time and money on re-themed or restored pins doesn’t mean you’ll get your money back and your even less likely to make a profit (good luck to you if you do). If you’re going to do something like this then I guess you just need enjoy the process and be satisfied with owning a unique pin. Forget about the money or chances are you’re not going to be happy.

Sorry but not worth it. Like said a dmd in which new coding was generated etc etc then at least you're getting a mad max not a beep, bop, chime game. The bidder could be real as some people with too much money and not many mates need things like this to brag about.

The story behind the game is on on of the Pinheadz Podcasts and it is an inspirational story. I agree with most, there is no way the time invested can be recouped financially. The donor game is a cracker of a title and I rate it as the fastest SS game ever made. I don't believe the game is worth $16,000, even to a collector.

Should be $1,600.

It's too bright & gay to represent the true apocolyptic Mad Max era, lots of metals & blacks, machinery galore is desperately needed...
Using the correct "mad max" font on the cabinet would help too, along with cop-lights flashing as a topper...

That thing looks like a cartoon.
