Best wishes for your daughter and your family,
i cant start to image the pain you guys are going through.

I believe that pinball has helped me cope this year after being diagnosed with Meniere's disease,
I cant play pinball atm but I love to talk about pinball,it helps me get through the tough days,
pinball its more than just a game.

good luck to all aussie pinball followers.

You were alert and got your daughter to the hospital early, mate. She is in good hands.

Firstly thanks for the support and kind words, turned into a big blubbering mess while reading the messages and thinking of my daughter and son for that matter as hardly seen him in days.

huge day doing MRI & CT scans mean while she is in agony when moved - poor little one.

They have narrowed it down to a septic arthritis in the hip and pelvis which means strong IV anti-biotics for six bloody weeks (in hospital). To top it off there are some other masses but not clear from the MRI and the CT was done 2 hours ago to try identify some other issues - appendix, bowel and the bloody C word Lukemia (Cancer). The septic arthritis is in the bones so not good and potential permanent damage, poor little thing, just breaks my heart (such a gorgeous loving soul).

Thanks for the support and kind words, it heaps…..

Hold in there Jady. kids can deal with these things better than us. we upset them by being sad around them. I know its hard but try not to show her how much your hurting. Take something in she loves doing and do it with her mate.
Im not saying cancer isnt bad, but its not like it used to be, cheamo is almost tailor made these days and a lot more successful.

From my own personal experience - The Doctors will give you the worst possible news early on during the diagnosis. They have to prepare you for all the different scenarios. That way if it does go down that path, you are prepared. Just hang in there and wait until they have narrowed it down and then have a treatment plan. Early days means a lot of guesswork and tests. Just keep her comfortable and happy and things have a way of sorting themselves out.

Good luck Swinks and your whole family.  I can empathise as one of my sons became type 1 diabetic about 5 years back.  Sometimes life is a bitch.  All ya can do is hang in there for the people who matter most.
