Space invaders pinball lamp driver problem
« on: August 17, 2014, 12:04:36 PM »
I think I'm getting the hang of pinball testing. One of my feature lights is off and globe is ok, wiring looks ok but tested Q4 and the scr looks dead no .4/.6v. Its #5 hoop target

its a 2N5060. Where can I get some or do I need to get equivalents and if so where do I get these?

MCR100-6 is a pin for pin drop in replacement

I would try the "usual suspects" pinball retailers - they should have bucketfulls of them.

I use either type in the Hankin replacement boards and both work equally well.

2N5060 are harder to get but you can use 2N5062 or 2N5064.

PM and I can drop in the post, or you can pop in and give you a couple. But don't scare me with your suit again !

Big thanks to Nino for the scr and homepin for the alternate for the future. All fixed in minutes.

Since getting a job I have found my mojo to fixing and tinkering with my games again. Funny when unemployed I thought I'd be big into pinball but the opposite happened. New found self esteem does wonders. Thanks guys
